Cant have Battlestar without Lorne Green.
Morena Baccarin. Just sayin’...
Yeah, River World would be cool. The Foundation Trilogy, So much good stuff out there. Theyre either too scared or too Lazy to try it.
Both!
This is utterly insane. The SciFi series was better than anyone ever imagined. It cant possibly be topped. All they will do is bleed money. Glenn Larson is dead. Pathetic.
Another retread.... apparently, no new ideas coming from Hollywood? Or maybe they are so consumed by their hatred that have lost all creativity and have to default to rehashing old TV and movie series in hopes of relying on the fans of the original shows.
Star Wars, Star Trek, etc. — have nothing new to offer.
Good fricking gad.
Glad I’m not a shareholder.

I never watched this, but I knew Jason Hall back in his Monolith days and he was the guy who made it happen.
I wish Microsoft had re-done Blake’s 7 from beginning to end minus a few of the really poor episodes
It could have been really good if they had casted the right actors for Servalan and Avon
It is very frustrating since almost all of the great science fiction books and short stories have not been made into movies or tv shows....click on my name for my list—any of those novels or short stories would make _amazing_ tv or movies.
To be more specific, only one novel and one short story on my list made it to movies or tv (after I wrote the list).
Ender’s Game was a movie.
Think Like A Dinosaur became an episode in the second Outer Limits series—totally amazing episode, btw, did full justice to the short story imho.
The second version of BG beats it, IMO, but Babylon 5 is still great.
We used to have a BSG ping list when the re-make was airing.
That was the last broadcast TV show I ever watched.
Is this a reboot reboot, or a reboot reboot reboot?
Back in College, I read the Foundation Trilogy and of course, Dune. Dune has been made into a movie, twice and Irobot made it to the big screen. Not the FT but the same author. However, my list of books these days is limited by my free time or lack thereof. Maybe when I retire, I'll get out my bifocals, and start on my book bucket list. I hope that FR still exists and with it your list. :)
There will be too many streaming services and all they will is come out with is more reboots.
I thought “Dune” was a good movie. I never read the book.
I have noticed that people who don’t like it have read the book.
Lorne Greene has gotten really selective about the roles he takes.
Still, I felt that the first movie was good as it was only of the first book. The Sci Fi version was not as good but it had more details due to its more hours of play.
The entire story is weird but I had friends whom I thought were bright who praised it, so I read it. First reading was incredibly now, more than 40 years ago.
I have been here for twenty one years so far...FR even longer... :-)
