Well, yeah, some poppy seeds contain small amounts and folks have tested positive for opiates due to poppy seeds.
In the late sixties or so, we were visiting family in Poland. I was a kid. Mom and her sister were cooking down raw poppy seeds with molasses and honey to make poppy seed roll. They got fairly wasted.
