Christie Brinkley has been sidelined for Monday’s season premiere of “Dancing with the Stars.”
ABC said in a statement that Brinkley is unable to continue this season following surgery to her wrist and arm. No details of her injury were given.
Sailor Brinkley-Cook will replace her mother on the show. Brinkley-Cook is a model who has appeared in Sports Illustrated.

As hard as that is to imagine, it's even harder for me to imagine that Billy Joel is now selling out stadiums at $100 plus per ticket. I would probably go see him play at the local pub if there was no cover charge and the beer was being offered at happy hour prices. Short of that - nah.

I first heard of Christie Brinkley in 1975. A pic in Life magazine showed her in a bikini bottom holding a dictionary to hide her boobs. She was 21 then.
I think it was an ad for Reading is Fundamental.

Tell your sister to look into Vitamin K2 MK7. It will put calcium into her bones from her diet, even pulling it out if the soft tissue such as the arteries and other places in the body it shouldn’t be. I’ve been taking it for a couple of years now. I’m 65 and actually took a spill, missing the last step while going down the basement with an armload of junk and two days before that, misjudged the steps on my dad’s porch and took a tumble backwards on Father’s Day weekend. I scraped myself up pretty good because I hit the pavement pretty hard but I broke no bones what so ever. I think it was because of the K2 MK7. Yes, I’m being more careful these days.
