I’m thinking it’s pile-on time to soften Trump up for the election and just in case they lose the House. And last chance to intimidate any conservative judge thinking that the title Justice before their name would be worth the confirmation hearing. RBG is going to hold on as long as she can, trying to scrape by until the “can’t confirm after this date” period. She’s walking around, even if with help. I don’t think her health will deteriorate so much that she can’t appear to be an active justice in the near future.
