I went to my new Trader Joe’s at the last minute yesterday evening to pick up a few things. I couldn’t find the rice cakes, so I asked a staff member (cute, turquoise hair streaks) walking by, “Rice cakes?”
She smiled and said, “Thank you.”
I said, “No, I’m looking for rice cakes. I don’t know what you heard, but I hope it wasn’t anything bad.” She smiled again, and directed me to the rice cakes, commenting that this Trader Joe’s does a good job of hiding them.
