I think it is designed to imply Trump’s numbers are a lie, too. Warren pads the numbers, they all pad the numbers, so, therefore, Trump’s numbers are false as well. It’s not about her trying to make people believe her numbers are true — quite the opposite. It’s about trying to smear Trump’s credibility by extension ... I believe.

I just couldn’t understand how far off the polling was last election.
I understand people not wanting to tell a pollster the truth, I do that myself.
But this was something entirely different and I think in the long run actually hurt Hitlery.
And even though it is way too early, pollsters are repeating the same mistakes.
