Another thought—if impeachment goes through, the Senate conducts a trial, unless they pass a dismissal resolution. Who presides over the trial? Chief Justice Roberts. And what if he is caught up in scandal before then? Does Trump nominate Gorsuch to replace Roberts, and a new SC justice to replace Gorsuch?

What bothers me most is ‘conservatives’ who shrug and say yeah they’ll impeach the President but they’ll pay a political price.

What fools! If we have to go drag all these traitors off the hill by their hair they should never be allowed to impeach the President of the United States as a political strategy, period! Our Republic’s on the line and all GOP can think of is elections.
