I read earlier about your trip and goal oriented driver/hubby.. So many men are like that - including my ex. I have in my 25+ years of being single been blessed with relationships that were rewarding and with men who liked to travel like I do. Back roads. Stops at those little places where there are a few guys on front wooden porch playing checkers. Have some homemade pie and good coffee and discussion with locals. short stops and walks in town squares. Take pix. Visit local cemeteries. My last couple trips back from OKC to Ohio I took back roads.. HWY 66 etc. so rewarding.could have done the stretch in 18 hours but took 5 glorious days.
I see you connected with Jeff... good show. I guess you know Jeff is quite ill with stage 4 cancer. He is young.. early 60s and has a large family of good kids/grands
Im agt Jens.. Had a wonderful soak in epson and lemon grass oil. doing laundry and brough over my containers/silver/dishes to wash. Need to make a quick run to library in this community to pick up the books I have on reserve & drop some off that are due. she lives in a community called Twinsburg. Named after the Wilxox twins who founded it. It hosts the annual twin/multiple birth festival yearly. Fun times with huge attendance from people around US and the world
Still feeling rough. Plan to cook up Jen’s stroganoff but truly would rather just go to sleep.. very tired and sore.
You and I would have a great time on a road trip meandering across the country.
I do hope to get to spend some time with Jeff and his wife, will try really hard to work it out.
Please, try to get some rest, your body is telling you it needs it.
