As I said before I have a lot of issues with the ADL, but their practice of circumcision, and more importantly urging Iceland to not ban the practice that every Jew male must have done as dictated by their religion, is not one of them.

Only in your deluded mind was the threat real, which is why you included it. It didn't exist to anyone merely reading what the ADL actually said.
To further bolster that you are anti Semitic you lied about why the ADL was created. You said it was to protect a child rapist and murderer, however, that was not the case. The ADL was started because the person convicted and sentenced to hang was given a pardon by the Governor of Georgia. An angry mob developed stormed the jail where he was at and dragged him out of bed and hanged him. It was that act that spurred the founder of the ADL to start the ADL.
You are free to believe what you want to believe, but at least be honest to yourself as to your motivation for believing what you do believe.

Personally in Norway. I have campaigned for allowing traditional early Jewish circimcitions.. I did not like it, but I thought the right of a religious minority supercedeeded that - and for family reasons have always fought for the jewish community. Obviously these sort of questions are hard, especially dealing with life changing surgery on minors...

I'm sure you could find an extremely small amount of cases where this is true, whereas an even greater number of cases can be found where not circumcising has caused issues as well.
But in the vast majority of both cases no issue exists when the procedure is or is not performed.
The majority of issues voiced from circumcision are of the mental type, whereas not circumcising are caused by real medical issues such as urinary tract infections. Not to say that circumcised males never experience urinary tract infections. Both may be caused by sexual contact. I did find the following: Circumcision for male infants is becoming less common in the U.S., according to new data published in Mayo Clinic Proceedings. The paper also finds that over their lifetime, half of all uncircumcised males will contract a medical condition related to their foreskin.
I don't know if studies have ever been conducted to see if one group or the other experiences more urinary tract infections or other issues, the above source not withstanding because I just briefly examined it. However, if it were and showed the preponderance is experienced by non circumcised males, it may be because more males are not circumcised. I believe only 30 percent of males are circumcised around the world. The top country for circumcising males is Nigeria, probably due to the large percentage of Muslims in that country. Both Muslims and Jews seem to have that as part of their religion.
Bottom line to me is that the issues with circumcision in males are so minuscule as to be irrelevant with regards to it being a health issue, or even considered as a form of child abuse.
You make up your mind for your male offspring, but do not demand everyone follow your decision. That is the best way forward for this issue.
