RIP Eddie Money
RIP
I was watching his old vids on YouTube last night.
Aw man, I liked him.
RIP Eddie.
Prior to being a rocker, he was a NYC policeman.
He played in Arcata at Humboldt State. The only concert I ever attended. It was great. Late 70’s or early 80’s.
Seemed to be a very unpretentious guy. Just liked doing what he did, and making his fans happy. RIP.
A video that couldn’t get made today.
I’ve still got him on vinyl. I’ll listen in his honor tonight. Seen him twice since he came out of rehab years ago. The last time his son & daughter were on stage jamm’n with him. It’s amazing how many hits he had and how many you forget about until you see him in concert (since I don’t pull out the album very often).
So sad....RIP Rocker.....
Keith Richard....oh skip it....LOL
Ahhhh yes the good old MTV days of the 80’s.....
Seemed like a sweet man based on the interviews I’ve seen. He thanked God for saving him from drug addiction, which is a wonderful testimony. Sad for his kids, who played in his band and appeared with him on “Real Money” on AXS TV. Yeah, regarding Keith Richards, only the good die young (and 70 is young nowadays, notwithstanding his drug issues earlier).
That’s too bad. One of my favorites from the old days.
RIP, Ed!
I saw him once way back in ‘92.
A local radio station was having their 20th birthday party and they had a group named Giant (some former Foreigner musicians), Eddie Money and REO Speedwagon play at the old Met Center arena in the suburban Twin Cities.
I do remember Eddie Money’s concert part was high energy and it sounded good too.
RIP, Eddie!
They are taking him to the funeral home tonight.
Pack your bags we’ll leave tonight!
Mr. Money did not do that song.
It was Eddie Rabbit.
