This happened before Roe vs wade as New York and a few other states had legal abortion. Now that Roe is coming to an end and states are getting tough on these clinics women are going back to pre roe.
Lot of pro choicers are organizing shuttle buses to help women travel either across a state or out of state for an abortion.
