Not good for Portsmouth Island south of Ocracoke in the OBX.
Hurricane Doiran sliced and diced dozens of new inlets into the barrier island. Full moon high tides will continue deepening and widening the larger ones.
Used to be able to drive the full length of the island in a 4x4. Impossible now.
