It’s a rotten company. The pay is horrible and there is no compensation for the damage passengers do to one’s car. Reminder: drivers use their own cars. Passengers spit, smoke and undoubtedly engage in disgusting behavior just to shock the poor driver.

They’re a rotten company with a complete lack of integrity in the C suite.

Their data systems were breached in 2018, resulting in the theft of 600,000 employee driver licenses, and personal records of 57,000,000 customers.

They agreed to pay the hackers a ransom to keep the episode secret (and failed) rather than inform those affected to give them a chance to take corrective measures.

Since fined $148M by all 50 states’ office of attorney general.

Garbage company.

I do Uber part time and switched to delivery only because of the issues you stated. Also passengers in the car can make any false claim and Uber automatically believes them and fires the driver with no due process.
It’s a horribly run company
