It’s basically fresh non-starchy vegetables, low-glycemic fruits (berries), and locally grown grass-fed meats, and wild caught fish, butter, eggs, and nuts (not too many, though). You aren’t denying your body of any nutrients if you follow that.

Exactly what I do. Also do locally grown veggies in season. I reversed elevated A1C, Cholesterol, LDL and Triglycerides in 12 months. Now going on year 3. I lost weight early, but not so much anymore. I can say it is all but impossible to gain weight eating this diet. If you do gain, probably eating too many nuts.

I started going to a local butcher for meats and Farmers Markets for the vegetables and eggs.
