As long as you stay on the diet, and do it correctly, you can reverse type 2, but the diet is control, not cure.

True enough, but when you consider that the wrong diet was the cause in the first place then having it return when you go back to the wrong diet wouldn't be surprising. And would still be fair to say that the right diet is a cure.
