I try to avoid supplements, the only supplement I use is Vitamin D3, as I'm a big believer in getting my nutrition from natural food sources.
But I thought I'd throw that out there and see if anybody has opinions on MCT one way or the other.
You should read up on K2, particularly if you take D3.
I use MCT oil, sprinkle it on my salad, but lately I’ve switched to just using Coconut Oil, as it’s easier on my stomach.
Most of the experienced research docs say it isn’t necessary. They prefer you not “drink” your calories. MCT is processed, and I have lost 115 lbs in 20 months without using any of these “supplements.
My daughter-in-law tried it and got the worst upset stomach and disaster pants ever. She tends to think that if a little is good, more is fantastic.
I follow the K.I.S.S. principle, would rather spend my money on higher quality food.
