We left out of Golden Isles marina st simons a week ago Thursday. That is a treacherous bit of channel out there. At one point in the channel its 40ft. but outside the the channel, its 2ft at low water. It’s a wall of mud there. One slip and you are over.

Agree, the Koreans would have to get their heads examined if they were considering UAW-built cars.

They dont call them roll on/ roll overs for nothing, one of these ends up like that every couple of years.
Watching them coming and going through Ambrose Channel, it always amazed me how car carriers were able to maintain stability.
That port is a major terminal for importing cars into the US.
The coast guard got the remaining crew off. That’s a relief. With the fire onboard, I was worried that they were goners. I’m sure the families had a bad time with that, too.
