Can Weld name one place where the sea level has risen?
Perhaps Weld can investigate the Broomway—a path in England that is covered by high tide twice a day. The Broomway has been in use for about 600 years. If sea level is indeed rising, it is odd that the Broomway has not been effected.

You’re right. Polls have shown consistently that this is at the bottom rung of voter concerns. Proving once again, as if we needed further proof, that the press just makes it up as they go along. They’ll say anything to advance the narrative, and whether it happens to be true is not a concern

Required to plan--first 7 feet then later 14--does not imply rising sea levels but just stricter standards.
Storms in Massachusetts Bay have historically gotten up to 20-25 feet waves crashing on shore. Now, not very often, but it happens about once in a century.
Doesn't prove nor disprove global warming.
