I grew up watching football with my dad.
College, pro, Dad loved it all. He’s why I’m a fan of the game.
Dad soured on the NFL before I did. But I stopped watching three or four seasons ago.
I won’t turn it on again.
Give it 2 or 3 weeks and there will be a team desperate enough to sign him. It will be a team that is off to a very slow start with the seat warming up underneath the HC/GM. They’ll figure they will risk destroying the team in order for a slim chance at salvaging the season and thus their job(s).

In Cleveland, we’ve seen the painful results of thinking they can rehabilitate a player who made it to the NFL and didn’t live by what should be very clear rules of what they cannot do. It never works out well. Better to give that slot to a less talented player who is an asset to the team, and sends the message to them that breaking the rules is not okay.

I doubt it. He’s radioactive at this point after threatening the GM in front of the whole team. Any team taking a chance on him will want to kick the tires and run him through training camp before playing him in real games.
The NFL is tightening its leash on some of these players. Why have your highest paid player be a distraction?
