It was the Kraken.
Obviously, someone wasn’t being very observant in overseeing the observatory.

Friend and I were walleye fishing in Lake Erie 12-14 years ago. It was windy but the anchor seemed to be holding. We got ready to leave and we couldn’t pull up anchor. We could pull it up a most of the way but the last 10-20 was more than we lift. Out friends showed up and we decided that are going to land the anchor and whatever is on it. Turned out to be a 5in cable, power for Put-in-Bay from the direction of the way. We got the anchor loose, dropped the cable and thanked God for saving our lives. I’m sure cables that size don’t have GFIs on them.

Deep water oil and gas, same thing. Treat it like you will never see it again if you put it in the ocean. Even if it is designed to be retrieved.

George: All right, no more lies. Elaine is been chosen to represent the Upper West Side in the next Biosphere project.
Vivian: I haven't heard anything about another Biosphere.
George: That's because it's underwater.
Vivian: This is insane.
George: Is it?
Vivian: Yes it it.
George: Well, it's all for charity, so what's the difference.

Having worked on a shrimp boat you’d be amazed at what comes up in the nets.

“The observatory costs around $330,000.”
Or a $100 at the scrapyard.
