A British vegan activist was left covered in blood after farmers shot her through a car window for 'rescuing' 14 rabbits in Spain, she claims.
Barcelona-based activist Mia, who goes by the Instagram name 'Mythical Mia', posted video on her social media showing blood on her face and legs.
She told her more than 40,000 followers how she entered a rabbit farm in Gurb, Osona, and 'rescued' the animals. However some have condemned her actions calling her a 'thief' and branding her an 'idiot'.
Mia claimed to have 'rescued 16 lives' despite Catalonia police stating 14 rabbits were taken from the farm.
Catalonia police said the window is likely to have been struck by a 'forceful object' due to the impact of the glass rather than a shot from a shotgun.
The activist described how the farmer was 'extremely aggressive' and resorted to 'strangling activists and smashing their heads with metal poles' following the incident.
A total of 15 activists from nationalities including Spanish, Turkish, French, Belgian
After the activists were asked to leave peacefully by police, Mia said they were chased by farmers who drove at up to 124mph down a motorway.

What is this British animal-rights activist doing in Spain? Aren’t there any British meat producers she could go after? And the police said the damage to the car window didn’t seem to be caused by a shotgun, as she claimed, but by a “blunt object.” A fake claim by the woman, perhaps?

"Covered in blood"? Hell, I've looked like that after shaving with the razor my wife used to shave her legs.
They’re operating off of a religious vision of nature as a Garden of Eden. That if we just convert or kill all the unbelievers, all live by the religious mandates in the name of Mommy Earth, we’ll live in happy communion with nature. That the predators won’t bother people or special animals. That life as subsistence farmers or hunter-gatherers is idyllic and easy. And they often demand we sacrifice our children to Mother Earth, whether “be child-free for the planet” or “it is too cruel to be American and have children, have an abortion to be a good caring parent”.
