A British vegan activist was left covered in blood after farmers shot her through a car window for 'rescuing' 14 rabbits in Spain, she claims.
Barcelona-based activist Mia, who goes by the Instagram name 'Mythical Mia', posted video on her social media showing blood on her face and legs.
She told her more than 40,000 followers how she entered a rabbit farm in Gurb, Osona, and 'rescued' the animals. However some have condemned her actions calling her a 'thief' and branding her an 'idiot'.
Mia claimed to have 'rescued 16 lives' despite Catalonia police stating 14 rabbits were taken from the farm.
Catalonia police said the window is likely to have been struck by a 'forceful object' due to the impact of the glass rather than a shot from a shotgun.
The activist described how the farmer was 'extremely aggressive' and resorted to 'strangling activists and smashing their heads with metal poles' following the incident.
A total of 15 activists from nationalities including Spanish, Turkish, French, Belgian
After the activists were asked to leave peacefully by police, Mia said they were chased by farmers who drove at up to 124mph down a motorway.

The eco thugs here have learned it is safer and more effective to use lawyers and government agencies to attack ranchers, farmers, fishermen. They do it relentlessly, and put many in the agriculture business out of business. They use climate change, endangered specie, ETC as a hammer to get their own way.
If people don't wake up one day we will go to the grocery stores and the shelves will be empty.
Horse thieves are hanged. Rabbit thieves are shot.
Those Spanish farmers apparently are the wrong guys to ‘eff with!

We had a Catalonian stay with us a few years ago. She asked if Americans ever ate rabbit because it was common where she was from.
This is actually worse than “cattle rustling” in some respects. Someone stealing your cattle may leave you to starve, but they may be stealing the cattle to eat. The vegans hate the livestock raising farmers on ideological grounds. They won’t just take to eat or profit - they’ll steal everything out of sheer hatred of the way of life and wish the farmers dead. Hence the wanton, deliberate property destruction and often death threats by vegans against farmers.
Another point is farm animals mostly survive as a class because of farming.

A little bit more of that in other areas and the activists won’t be trespassing as much as they do.

For several years there was a large white rabbit that either escaped or more likely was released, that hopped around our neighborhood. There was always a smaller brown bunny nearby.
I called them Brownie and Marshmallow. It was clear that Brownie was wild but was helping Marshmallow survive.

I wish some of these folks would get in a cage with a hungry tiger...to convince the tiger that going vegetarian is good. The tiger could then brag about eating vegetarian too.
She got off easy. The Spaniards should have dragged her out of the car and beat her unconscious. Then pissed on her while she was passed out.
There’s nothing wrong with being vegan. There is something wrong with taking some other person’s property. The problem with activists is that they think domestic animals are not private but community property and that leftists are the unelected leaders, judges and juries of the community, entitled to take ownership of it all.
That cut on her face didn’t come from a gun, it looks like a razor blade cut, and the blood didn’t just ooze from that wound or there wouldn’t be blood above the cut. She dabbed it around for dramatic effect.
Might even be a scratch from a rabbit’s nail ...she might have tried to hug a rabbit and got kicked in the face.
