The best stupid story I have for you is placing a machine placed tank road at an Army base, we had a newly reporting PFC ignore the signs and barricades, driving on and off the road to get around them, and drive over a crest of a hill right into our new placement and bury his Toyota pickup right up to the frame.
Trying to follow “orders” as to where to report.
We got him out, told the Army if they did not charge him we would forego any change request and helped him clean his truck.
