Of course Corporate America wanted women in the workplace, as opposed to being stay-at-home moms, because it doubles the potential supply of labor, which drives down wages.

There is a “pay gap” because women work less than men. Part of that is biological, of course. Every job I have ever had the males in the building did the heavy lifting. It is what it is.
