Actually, I have partners in Europe (Italy & France) and Hong Kong who design & build ultra high-end audio equipment.
I’ve also partnered with a critically acclaimed mastering engineer in his remastering of classic albums incl Doobie Bros, Rod Stewart, Peggy Lee, Eva Cassidy, among others. My website is included in the album credits.
As a 19 y/o kid from Ohio when I moved to Hollywood, the song “Hollywood Nights” comes dangerously close to describing my experiences....perfectly.

I have that album (”Bop Till You Drop”) on an ugly pink LP cover - original pressing - and still recall it being the first digital recorded album.
IIRC, Donald Fagen’s solo masterpiece “The Nightfly” is also an early all digital recording/mixing. The current 24-bit mastering digital file is nothing short of amazing in sound quality.
Today’s technology has improved IMMENSELY over those early digital recorders...MUCH better sound quality.
