"Yet, there is observable evidence that our physical world arose from a singularity... a singularity which occurred in a state we are unable to adequately describe."

Since "we are unable to adequately describe" your singularity, how can you call it "observable evidence"? You are making my point. The mathematical "singularity" does not adequately describe observable reality - unless you also say that "the laws of physics don't apply".

While I only have a lay understanding, my sense is thet you are even less familiar with the topic. Otherwise, you would understand what the observable evidence is what caused physicists to abandon the Steady State Model and embrace the Big Bang.

You are making my point.

I don't think so.

Well, as I understand it, the laws of physics do break down at the singularity
