Cilla Carden made headlines this week for her legal beef, in which she claimed the odors from her neighbors’ barbecues had destroyed her quality of life, 9News reported. Now more than 3,000 people are planning to attend a cookout outside her Perth home, organized on a Facebook page called “Community BBQ for Cilla Carden.”
Carden’s legal battle with her neighbors began last year. Her complaint was tossed out of court earlier this year, and she filed an appeal. The appeal was also rejected in July, but she has vowed to keep fighting.

What a completely insensitive thing to say. If the killing and eating of animals is sickening to this woman, she is absolutely entitled to that view. It may well be that the sight of flesh sickens her. She can't help that. It may well be that the smell of cooking flesh sickens her. She is also entitled to that. She and her neighbor should work on finding a mutually agreeable way for him to enjoy BBQ and her not to have to smell the results. For you to suggest that an animal be killed in front of her just to show HER is absolutely abominable. I would also be beside myself to witness such a thing. And no, I don't eat red meat of any kind.

I hope this Aussie woman winds up in a mental ward where she belongs. Suing neighbors over cooking smells ... what a nasty thing to do.
Perhaps she should have thought of that before taking him to court, and causing him legal expense. Perhaps this will give some pause to some other leftists.
Perth is more like southern California in terms of climate.
