Corrections officers carry the necessary and mandatory corrections demeanor. However, this does not go down well outside of the work walls. If she acted like the off duty prison workers I’ve interacted with, then she likely overplayed her hand outside of her normally controlled environment but with an armed punk. I’m betting that if some of his future officers get word about this, they’re gonna give him “special attention”.

Exactly. I know a woman who got a job at a prison. She became an instant @$$hole who thought she was "Law Enforcement." Told everyone around her that she was just like a cop, and she had a badge.

Went way over the top with it, and she was just a peon prison guard. I can imagine what a Sargent at the prison would behave like.

Yes, she probably got her @$$ shot by treating the man as if he was an inmate and talking big sh*t to him.
