It appears to be more in line with Javier and Ernesto somewhere under duress.

Square Grouper
Is that the source of the Mickey D’s ‘square’ fish on the sandwich?
Not being a fisherman, I’d never seen a square fish.

Northern Bahamas isnt the Caribbean and this storm moved east to west across northern Bahamas ....an area Im intimately familiar with....and no boat operator smuggler running say from PR or Haiti or JA or Exumas would risk that storm...and take a chance running up past Cay Sal bank and the straits.....those bales came from land ...washed out from west end maybe
What Coast Guard catches mostly is gofast boats from the Guajira in Colombia an d north coast Venezuelan ports headed to south coast Dom Rep....unheard of in my era
All this has made the Catatumbo region of eastern Colombia the new Antioquia or Norte del Valle cartels
Proximity to lawless utterly corrupted Venezuela
Anyhow...confession
My era of expertise is 1980-early 1990s in regards to North coast South America and the Caribbean basin
Everyone I knew is dead or in US prisons or very low key occasionally photographed at a daughters wedding in Barranquilla or Santa Marta
I did read 80% of blow seized today is in Central America or their waters Im sure youre right that Colombian cocaine subs ply the Caribbean...Im for sure out of the loop in 2019 ...thankfully I might add..... Little map courtesy SOUTHCOM
