Plus-size women represent 68% of shoppers

In the 1980s, I wove fabric and turned it into clothing. I made many simple styles that were easily adjusted to various sizes.
One customer said to me:”Why don’t more designers make clothes for big women? After all, we have all the money.”
That said, I don’t recall _that_ many really large women.
And sizing has long been fungible. I sold retail clothing during high school and college (1960s). We were advised to switch tags to a smaller size if that’s what it took to make the sale.
I don’t like fat meat. My younger son takes after me; after dinner, we both have big chunks of fat remaining on our plates.

Me, too. It’s the texture I dislike.
Plenty of flavor in lean meat if it’s not cooked to death. And plenty of ways to add moisture/flavor if needed.
Fat doesn’t make fat. Carbohydrates and calories overall do.
Women will continue to be fat for as long as there are men willing to sleep with them
Do men find that attractive? I don’t understand.
I’m a woman, and I’m offended by her showing off that cleavage crack.
These women arent skinny they are gigantic. It isnt healthy at all. There is a middle that most people are at.

Celebrating overweight humans is similar to celebrating mental disorders - i.e. homosexual lifestyle choice, pedophilia, etc...
Yes, there is no WAY even at her largest Monroe was anywhere near what a size 14 is today... sorry to pop that bubble folks.
But to the topic of the article....
YOU LITERALLY WORK IN AN INDUSTRY THAT IS ALL ABOUT THE SUPERFICIAL AND LOOKS.... THEN YOU GET UPSET WHEN YOU ARE JUDGED BY YOUR OWN????
MAYBE YOU SHOULD RETHINK WHAT YOU DO FOR A LIVING.... Just a thought.
And, I say this as a guy who likes curvy and rubenesque women...
I don’t care what the style is, there are some things you will NEVER look good in if you are over a certain size, no matter how well tailored.
Refusing to accept that what may be IN is a train wreck on you, is ridiculous. IF you are a bigger girl, I have problem that you want to dress your “style”.. but if you think at 250 or 300lbs you can pull off certain types of clothing, and look good, you are just fooling yourself.
No, she is the ‘Incredible Bulk’.
Those measurements indicate that Marilyn was a slender woman. Not tiny, but slim.
eating real food (as from nature) is a good start not the processed/packaged low carb, low fat, low sugar, low sodium stuff that the body can’t digest and use properly as it can food in more natural state.
ketotype eating - long term - is missing some important nutrients. Trading one problem for another. Just because it may not catch up with you or others for a few more decades doesn’t mean it’s healthier. Most people on keto etc may do well short term to reduce or avoid certain carbs but the body needs them - it’s fuel the body was designed to work well with. Sure the body can burn other things as fuel but it’s like putting wrong fuel in your car, at some point problems occur.
Men’s sizes have changed too. Go take your pants and a tape measure, and measure the waist, from button to hole. You will generally find it bigger than the label size.
I’m going with paleo. I eat meat, unprocessed veggies, fruit, nuts. It’s been working for me.
