Thanks for clarifying that for a bubblehead. The only thing we had to “carry” was “on”.

Outstanding reply. I knew what he was referring to only because I shared an office with an Army LTC for three years. He'd tell war stories and I'd tell sea stories. The Air Farce major just looked lost.

Do you remember the naval etiquette involved with the use of "very good" vice "very well"?

I have trouble remembering what I had for breakfast yesterday.

Submariners, as I recall (see sentence above), weren’t all that big on naval etiquette. However, if you’ll refresh my memory, I’ll try to remember it tomorrow - after breakfast. :-)
