Donald Trump may be rude, crude and at times has even been a little lewd. But more than any of those things, he has also been pretty darned shrewd, and he was already that at a very early age.

Short of Thomas Jefferson, probably one of the smartest men ever to serve in the White House. Others have been more charismatic or even Machiavellian, but almost none of them could think on their feet quite as quickly as Donald Trump.
