I disagreee. I think ex-CIA Ruby Ridge Bill Barr knew exactly what was happening, and what was going to happen, and stepped aside to facilitate it.
I won’t necessarily say he didn’t. However, since just about everybody who looked at the situation thought Epstein was a dead man walking, it was incumbent on Barr not just to give orders to highly dubious people that Epstein be protected and turn his back, but to be intensively proactive, including direct personal intervention, if necessary, to make sure Epstein stayed alive. He didn’t; he screwed up.
