As many of you know, I was taken hostage at Trader Joe's in Silverlake last year. The trial is just beginning and the perp is representing himself [yes, he has a fool for a client].
I will enjoy the verdict putting him away for life.

Justice is beginning to be served.
I am saddened you and the others went through this.
Thankfully, you were one of the fortunate, unfortunate ones.
I remember that night. How are you handling everything?

He sounds like a Paranoid Schizophrenic type. Judge has to be sitting amused by this case.

This sort of thing is why I carry a gun. Not so that I can use force on people, but so that people can’t easily use force on me. I’m sorry you had to go through that, and look forward to hearing of a verdict of “guilty”.
When I first saw the headline, I thought it was about some guy who lost it when trying to shop at a Trader Joe’s- I could almost sympathize with that! Nice enough merchandise, but small, horribly crowded and poorly merchandised- always a frustrating experience for me!

I just saw your name on another thread and thought, “Wonder how BunnySlippers is recovering from her Trader Joe’s ordeal last year?” And here you are.
I very much hope you are doing well. Not something you can ever forget, but you can get through it and past it. Bless you, FRiend.

I remember you posting about this at the time. I can’t believe it’s already been a year. Best to you. I know the trauma must have been great.

Better to put him away for death

I hope that he does get life; a shame that execution is no longer an option for such criminals!
Stay safe, be well, and give 'em HELL at the trial, my dear friend!
