Death by Doctor would have been more appropriate.

Really? “Death by Doctor”?

Oh yeah. They should definitely, MOST DEFINITELY go after the Doctor who prescribed the Fentanyl to him! Because, you know, MY doctor is very careful about limiting my Fentanyl prescription to me when he writes it out, and I find it disturbing to hear there are doctors out there who carelessly write overprescription of Fentanyl. (Yes, that is indeed sarcasm.)

We just can’t expect 27 year olds to be responsible for illegal substances they voluntarily ingest to get their kicks. His family WANTS someone else to be responsible for his death, and for them to be punished.

What a load of horse crap.

Most fentanyl is from the illicit market. You can buy alcohol anywhere. The oxycodone could have been off the street or prescribed.

So where should you place the blame?

The pitcher. No, highly paid athletes of legal age can’t be held responsible for their actions because they are idols.
The person that sold or gave him the fentanyl? No, it’s too hard to go after them. Anyways, they were all having a good time.
The alcohol producer or seller. No, alcohol is legal and we already went through prohibition.

The doctor. Yes, there you go. Even if it was a friend’s pill, the doctor should have known that the pill could have been stolen or passed around. Maybe he got a prescription and the doctor told the guy to drink alcohol with it and have fun at parties.
