I can not resist stopping at a kids lemonade stand, as long as it is the kids selling. If it looks like the Mom is going to take over the sale, I move on. I buy whatever they are offering then pour it out the window once I have turned the corner. ;o)

Many years ago (summer 1984) I was a roofer.

At the end of one long, hot, Louisiana August day on the roof, the crew descended the ladders to head home. Just so happens the kids who lived in the house we were roofing set up a lemonade stand in the front yard.

The grimy, exhausted crew swarmed the stand, buying every cup. The kids had to rush inside and make several more batches.

Those kids were printing money that day.

I remember buying several cups myself. Nothing ever tasted better than that cold lemonade on that sweltering day.
