Hey revelation , I have commented on Catholic postings and not favorably either .....but that is my view and I was not ostracized or verbally scolded . So your assertion that Jim Robinson is AGGRESSIVELY pro Catholic is absurd... I disagree with your opinion.
But the reality remains that by some means RC's seem to have achieved a type of protected status on FR, and thus are able to incessantly pope articles promoting an elitist one true church, which historically damned those who dissent from it, and at the least, today teaches that Prot churches are unworthy of the proper title "church."
RC posters can not only post provocative articles defending distinctive Catholic teachings (that are not manifest in the only wholly inspired substantive authoritative record of what the NT church believed), but also can post many articles attacking the beliefs of evangelicals. However, if the latter practice the same them they risk being pulled or banned, as in the past.
However, to be fair, that was a result of some Prot freepers going overboard in posting articles of reproofs on Catholicism, yet certain RCs seem to have taken that as freedom to post their articles promoting their one true church but not allowing articles against that presumption.
While an expressed policy of FR is that of being pro-God, the "only true Judeo-Christian God as taught to us by KJV with no additional editing or books of fiction," and pro-America, and protecting our religious freedom, etc. and that no false gospel shall be taught here as Truth, and the fellow promoters of a "one true church" (FR Mormon) were censored , yet Catholics are free to promote a church with a false gospel of salvation by merit, of actually becoming good enough to be with God thru sacraments and Purgatory. As documented .
Thus those who would post articles critical of that presumption should have the same freedom as those who promote it.
Now in the interest of the broader issues of conservatism versus liberals, then evangelicals (as the most conservative major religious body in the West ) find an ally in the remnant of conservative traditional Catholics. And thus the owner has exhorted , "Catholics, Protestants, Evangelicals, Jews, etc, are not the enemy. ALL conservative pro-life, pro-family pro-America believers in our one true Judeo-Christian God are our guests, friends and allies in this effort, so please don't attack your allies!" However, attacks are usually in response to articles that promote a one true church, and thus provoke responses, and certain RCs oppose the freedom to criticize their faith (as they define it), and seem to long for a Catholic monarchy that would silence them. As in the past. Which is not pro-America, and pro-freedom.
