You do know that the Catholic means “Universal”.

What is important is believing in Jesus Christ of the bible and not Catholic, Baptist or any other denomination... They are all controlled and ran by infallible humans and every one that is not teaching people about living by the bible is leading their followers astray! That would be MANY Christian churches and includes the Catholic church (which I believe to be highly corrupted at the top).
I grew up Baptist and they pushed me away from organized religion... I was raised with the truth of the bible and never lost my faith in God, just the church. Later in life, I have realized the importance of the church and that there are still good ones out there teaching the bible... but they seem to be few and far between, the ones I have found that are actually teaching what the bible says and who God is, based on what the bible says are typically non denominational.
Too many others appear to be ran by the same liberals that want to redefine what our constitution says or call it a living constitution and think they can do the same with the bible and teach followers it is irrelevant or outdated or just does not really mean what it says. The Catholic Church has done a superb job of this in my book!
My grandfather left the Baptist church in the early 90’s when they started preaching acceptance of the homosexual lifestyle.... Directly against the bible!
He and half the church went and built a new non denominational community church across the road and have been teaching the bible every since... Grown so much they have to do 2 services and now they are building a big school there too!

The catholiciism apologist at FR do not use ‘Catholic’ to mean Universal. That was what the start of Christianity was in the sense of ‘catholic or holy Apostolic Universal Body of believers. Today these apologists use the word to refer to their ORG (rhymes with Borg), and distain any who would try to revert the word back to its origins from which Romanism has diverged so far away to no longer be Christianity. Catholicism is rife with blasphemies and heresies.
