i It used to be that a homosexual was afraid to get out of the closet. Now, being homosexual is celebrated and even encouraged, and it you don't declare yourself to be what you feel, you're a traitor to the cause. Homosexuality has been "normalized".

It used to be that, being a socialist or a communist meant that you were a traitor to the foundations of the U.S. and could not be trusted to defend the country and its constitution and its laws. Now, socialism and communism are celebrated and even encouraged, and if you're not a far-left supporter, you will be labeled a racist and fascist and enemy of the people. Socialism has been normalized, as well as communism.

So, I don't doubt that coming out as a pervert, even as a pedophile, will be celebrated and normalized too. It's just a matter of time, and the right political environment. Harvey Milk and Epstein will be called victims of an intolerant society.
