Need to arrest any on sight, each and every modern klansman who shows up in public wearing a mask to conceal identity.
They still have the Klan-era laws on the books.

And in Chapter 14
"§ 14-12.8. Wearing of masks, hoods, etc., on public property.And if the police are given orders to not enforce the laws, the DOJ has legal cause to go after the people issuing those orders. (That assumes that the DOJ is cleaned up yet, which I doubt, though)No person or persons shall in this State, while wearing any mask, hood or device whereby the person, face or voice is disguised so as to conceal the identity of the wearer, enter, or appear upon or within the public property of any municipality or county of the State, or of the State of North Carolina.
