A subset of the burners pass through here (Maybe from Portland and Bend, OR...)
Last year I was at one of the big discount grocery stores in town on Friday pre-BM. Burners were everywhere. A crusty-looking bunch even before the burn.
Monday AFTER, I spotted a pair of them with a SUPER dusty car looking very burned out outside the local liquor store.
Interesting group. Not for me. Not even when I was young and foolish.
Maybe eight or so years ago, a couple of them had a single-car fatal accident out here on the way home late at night. There’s still one of those road-side shrines by some guy’s hay field where the driver fell asleep and they both bought it.
