OK. That is a criminal action. The penalty for it MUST be the same as an innocent man would have gotten. No exceptions. Being a cop makes it worse: sworn to protect and to serve.

To protect and serve is just a marketing slogan. They are only sworn to be bodymen for the state in enforcing laws and protecting crime scenes and garnering revenue of the state.

The article doesn’t mention that the perp had altered his face to hide the tattoos during the robbery. Forensics was trying to duplicate what the perp did.
