But like you, I am concerned about this. Congress has given away too much of its power. The most glaring example of that was Bush II’s invasion and occupation of Iraq. Whether you think that move was wise or not, it was a full-blown war with no declaration of war from Congress.

You’re forgetting we live in a different age here, while (more than) half of those corrupt vermin in Congress don’t have the IQ to tell their asses from their elbows - and EVERY single person on Team RAT is either corrupt or irredeemably mentally ill. Personally, I don’t WANT those dim-wits having the power to declare war. I don’t want them having power of ANY kind.
