like others, I hope these fine American lives were not given in vain. I am conflicted about what we should do. If we can continue to screw up ISIS/Taliban/AlQueda/Muslim plans and deny them a chance to really rebuild a terrorist machine, I am willing to keep troops like these two men, on the ground there for a long time. On the other hand, if we can’t achieve that goal, come home soon and let the chips land where they may.
I know the first option is ugly. I fear the second option will cost more in the long run. I just don’t know and am afraid no one else does either.
