They will be playing in the Spring, during the NFL off season, so they will not be competing head to head with the NFL club.

The thought is that they needed to have presence in major cities. Those often have an NFL team already.

They did add St. Louis, which has had football teams. I think one of the TX teams should have been in San Antonio; that town is one of the largest in the US and has ONE major sports franchise. Their AAF team was drawing decently for the 6 weeks it was playing games.

100% TRUE. = I’m IN the Alamo City & our old GUNSLINGERS & the short-lived COMMANDERS made $$$$$ from the first game that they played until the leagues died.

Bring back the GUNSLINGERS & with the Dallas & Houston teams, we can have a “WAR south of the Red River”.

IF I was giving the new spring league advice, I would say that they should use the NCAA rules, as the fans are accustomed to & understand those rules.
