Okay, I am not getting it exactly - so this fed ruling says that electors have to go by the vote in their states and not the national popular vote total? If that’s what it means of course it’s good. I thought it meant the other way at first reading.

Would love for the SC to rule that the electors should cast their ballots according to how the vote went in each Congressional District. After all that’s what a Electoral College vote represents.
That would really put a twist in the Socialist/Dem’s plan to circumvent the Constitution.
Look at all that red on the map in all the Congressional Districts across the USA. Large urban votes (think vote harvesting) could not cancel out the will of the voters in the rural Congressional Districts, and the only Dem Electoral votes cast would be the ones generated in large cities.
