4chan can have Pepe, but they can't have KEK.
KEK was invented in World of Warcraft, an online MMORPG ( Massively multiplayer online role-playing game). KEK is LOL when translated form common tongue into Orcish. It's what an Alliance member would see in chat if a Horde member said LOL.
Gamer-gate served to 'organize' and politicize the gamer 'community' which morphed into 4chan/8chan and the anons/autists we know and love today. The political correct left/commie movement woke up Pepe and turned gamer nerds into patriots.
It's why I refer to them as 'nerds'. Gamers being thought of by most people as 'nerds'.
Its also why I question the authenticity of certain 'wanna be' anons.
Legit anons are of a certain type. True 'gamers' have a certain skill set/mental attitude. Just spouting the talking points and saying KEK ain't all there is to it.

Kek may have been called in WoW, but Kek is an Egyptian god and has a female counterpart- Kauket (light and dark mmmhmmm). These two are probably a re-hash of the Sumerian gods Inanna and Dumuzi.
This is all pushback against the derp state encroachment and attempted take over of our culture and country.
Who would have ever thought that 'gamers' would be on the front lines of this war.
Q would, that's who.

The controversy has been described as a manifestation of a culture war over cultural diversification, artistic recognition, and social criticism in video games, and over the social identity of gamers.
Many supporters of Gamergate oppose what they view as the increasing influence of feminism on video game culture; as a result, Gamergate is often viewed as a right-wing backlash against progressivism.
Industry responses to the harassment campaign have focused on ways to minimize harm and prevent similar events. Gamergate has led figures both inside and outside the industry to focus on methods of addressing online harassment.
There is an element of toxic feminism which instigated the Gamergate episode. Some here don't exactly understand that correctly, and have misinterpreted the 'feminism' aspect and turned it into something else. Of course, I speak of our estrogen-phobes who have made their opinions known recently.
I have seen neither hide nor hair of toxic feminism here on our thread.
