Bags replied: Trump just called Xi our enemy. That's a first.

Yes, that is big.
But I do not recall any President (since Andrew Jackson) so directly taking on the globalist financial cartel represented on our shores by the Fed.
Presidents who showed somewhat similar courage included Lincoln and Kennedy.
Stock market gagged, of course, on President Trump's stance. It's lousy with globalists and even card-carrying foreigners who obviously do not have America's interests at heart.
But POTUS IS RIGHT AGAIN. He is calling out the banking cartel for their passive-aggressive stance against America. They have completely reversed all their Obama-era positions which GAVE OBAMA A BULL MARKET in stocks after the 2008-2009 collapse (which the Fed partly caused by its actions in 2006-2007, thereby helping elect the RAT), despite ZERO'S HORRIBLE economic policies.

AMERICA FIRST
Quite possibly still part of a negotiation strategy. It has become obvious recently that China has adopted a mutually assured destruction (MAD) approach to trade talks. The most likely reason is that the usual DS traitors are advising Xi to damage Trump via the economy badly enough to help the DS defeat Trump in 2020. Once DJT is gone, the usual 5th columnists will restart the selling out of America to the PRC.
Trump is throwing down the challenge flag, showing he is not intimidated, instead confident. I am not so sure Xi can be so assured. China stands to lose immensely in this trade war - always did. Wisdom dictated that they hold out for as good as they can get. I kept posting that view all through the first half of this year.
To my dismay Xi has chosen the MAD path to follow. The only reason I can think of is that American DS-ers are pushing him towards a 'Gunfight at the OK Corral'. The DS has little to lose, but Xi has to face the politbureau and the warlords. A curious turn of events: China with a six shooter and POTUS with a howitzer... a huge gamble on China's part.. HIGH STAKES.
Of course the MSM is all over it with gloom and doom for the poor American businessman and consumer; gin up all the fear and worry that propaganda can muster -- and don't forget the looming recession that will reverse all our gains.
And quietly off to the side, lost in the grass so to speak, is the good possibility that this all fits Trump's stated goal to encourage American companies to do less business with China, obviating any need for extensive dealings with verifications with a partner infamous for cheating.
