I used to sell commercial real estate. The ONLY reason I’d ever buy a Mercedes is if I was in sales and had to drive clients around. They are the most overpriced mass produced cars on the road, IMO. Impressing other people is the only reason I’d own one, And even then I’d count the cost.
“Impressing other people is the only reason Id own one”
My boss was accepted as a full member of Medinah Country Club.
He purchased a new M-B saying he needed the right car for the club!
Our kids caddied at Medinah for years, our Suburban fit right in with many like it.
On busy days the gate guards just waved us in.
We’ve got a baby Mercedes SUV. It’s the best car we’ve owned and the service is WAY above any service we’ve ever received from Ford, Volvo or Toyota. The car is solid as a rock. We have an assigned personal service advisor so that person is always familiar with our car. We get the best loaners from them when the car is in the shop. We’ve had it about four years and we’ve only had a couple of minor parts fail which were covered under warranty. Now if only Mercedes would quit using German engineers to design the user interface on their entertainment system and car controls. That’s the biggest Yuck factor in the car.
