Evidently this "love" was not nearly so “...breathless, huge, overwhelming, joyful, exciting, or powerful" enough for her to welcome and cherish two new lives that would have been the product of such a union.

Milano talked about what an emotional experience it was for her, especially coming from a Catholic upbringing. But she knew she was “not equipped to be a mother and so I chose to have an abortion. I chose. It was my choice. And it was absolutely the right choice for me.”

Well, for YOU any way... and really, that's all that matters. The dead baby, the yearning mother waiting years to adopt, the loved ones denied the child's friendship, the hell with that.

That might explain why she is so angry and bitter. The guilt must be eating her alive. It seems that clinging on to an ideology that supports her actions is all she has left.
